ISO 17100 «Translation services – Requirements for translation services» is an international industry standard that contains requirements for translation service providers (translation service providers, TSPs) in terms of human and technical resources, methods of service provision, contractual conditions, etc. Thus, the standard covers the entire life cycle of a translation project: from the request for service to post-production activities.
The field of application of the standard does not include interpretation services and the technology of using automatic machine translation with subsequent editorial processing.
