We would like to share the results of the project to support the Integrated Quality Management and Information Security System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013).
The specifics of the customer’s activity, the AVANGARD IDEI company, work with customer data and wide data archives that need to be saved and stored. Taking into account the trends of transition to electronic document management and digitization of data, the top management of AVANGARD IDEI decided to develop and implement 2 Management Systems. The development and implementation of a Quality Management System was more related to the need to increase the efficiency of time use and prepare the foundation for scaling. The project implementation period within the framework of the EBRD project was 5 months.
Project objectives
1) The integrated management system must meet the requirements:
- International standard ISO 9001:2015 “Quality management systems. Requirements”;
- International standard ISO 27001:2013 “Information technologies – Protection methods – Information security Management systems – Requirements»
2) Due to the standardization of business processes, it is necessary:
- increase the efficiency of the company’s employees;
- develop a business model for the company;
- implement a monitoring system for the implementation of the company’s business processes and the efficient use of resources.
Project implementation
The System Management team conducted a diagnostic audit of the existing management system (for compliance with the requirements of standards and with the use of personnel assessment by roles in the team) in order to assess the level of manageability of the enterprise and the effectiveness of each department.
After this stage, an audit report and a list of measures to improve the existing management system were provided.
Based on the received data:
– together with the head of the company and a team of specialists in the implementation of this project, we agreed on a program for developing a management system;
– the company’s employees were trained in the requirements of international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
Results and features of the project
1) examination of 2 management systems according to international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 27001;
2) the number of employees of the company has doubled;
3) the company’s revenue has increased 2 times.
